My owner builder clients set out with a dream and clear intention of building a contemporary family home with some rustic and industrial influences. My colleague, architect James Rigney visited the sloping site and came up with a fantastic design making use of the space underneath the raised floor plan to have an extra large garage. The project became a very collaborative effort between James, myself and the owners. Recycled bricks, chunky timber verandah posts, polished concrete, messmate timber featuring throughout the home and black detailing more than achieved the wonderful result.
